Have you ever wondered what sleeping on a REAL futon is like? Coming soon, we will have our ‘washitsu’ (Japanese style room) available to guests.
It will feature tatami rice straw mats for flooring, a real Japanese style futon for sleeping, and a cozy tokonoma in the corner. Pictures coming soon so you can see what it all looks like!
Crane Beach was a fantastic walk last weekend. Makiko and I escaped for a couple hours Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the 6 odd miles of sand under our feet. We then took in the Choate Bridge Pub for a drink and some fine dining. I recommend the lobster roll.
If you have a last minute craving for a pie or need to stop for some goodies to enjoy while on the sand, hit Russel Farm on the way out, it is less than a 2 minutes from the beach. Make it a weekend and stay with us at KAEDE, enjoy some of the fine dining in town, just steps from our dooryard.
